The Journey Continues

0300 came mighty early this morning, but we wanted to get a jump on the day. We pulled out at 0400 after loading the truck and grabbing coffee. From there we were introduced to the Maryland - Delware - New Jersey toll roads...Wow! we think that paying $1.25 at 19 and 27 and then $2.50 to get the airport is up there; we hit tollbooths that ranged from $5 to $15 per toll. We all compared notes and realized that none of us have ever paid a single $15 toll before...new experiences abound.

We were able to catch glimpses of the New York City skyline and saw the outline of the Statue of Liberty from the interstate. While this was exciting it was no match for the excitment we experienced driving among the masses who make up NYC traffic as they make their way into the city. Oh how it makes you long for I-4 traffic through Orlando.

And now I write this as we pay our $13 to cross the George Washington Bridge, and make our way into the city.
